I remember when Dr. King would speak

He said, "Love shall make the enemies weak
when you turn the other cheek.
Though they beat you to the ground
we shall overcome with unified sound
and like the walls of Jericho,
the hatred shall come tumbling down.

Don't go walking to the back of the bus
You stay up front and make a peaceful fuss.
Tell the driver you would
rather go to your grave
than be treated like a slave.

Walk right up to the front of that school-
for the man wants to keep you
working like a mule
We all have minds to shine like jewels.
