THOMAS JEFFERSON

The Iroquois League regarded leaders as servants of the the people rather than their masters and upheld freedom of expression in Political and religious matters. These ideas through Benjamin Franklin influenced our founding father and 3rd president Thomas Jefferson.

Bring Down the gilded crown
It's the end of the age of kings
let the bells of freedom ring
all the rebels sing
bring down the gilded crown

With the fire of his words
He defeated George the third
And the churches' wars
Who used God like a fearful sword
commit crimes in the
Name of the Lord

All the rebels declared
"The world shall be fair,
If we must fight, we shall have life
And liberty; America shall be free,
We are the hope for all humanity.

The pen is mightier than the sword
Heaven on earth can be restored
The rebel Jefferson implored
Bring down the gilded crown.
